As winter weather is upon us, and the New York air is as dry and windy as ever, my face longs for a little extra TLC. Luckily, I have a few products that are my go-tos in this situation! I’ve been experimenting with facial products, and I think I’ve finally come to the place where my searching has ended. Below are my favorite autumn/winter skin care products in order of  their use, and why I think they’re the best!

1. Glossier Milky Jelly cleanser 
Glossier is the brainchild of Emily Weiss, the founder of beauty blog Into The Gloss. They claim to bring clean, fresh, natural, and game changing products for the everyday girl. Milky Jelly is Glossier’s facial cleanser. It boasts of benefits such as soothing, purifying, and nourishing skin. The jelly like facial cleanser smells of roses and once rinsed, leaves skin soft and supple. The product can be applied directly to eyes to dissolve makeup, and does an AMAZING job at doing so. Milky Jelly is my go-to face wash and makeup remover

2. Glossier’s Super Serums

These are the best facial serums that have touched my skin! I have very sensitive skin, and these serums never break me out. Each individual serum has differing benefits. Super Glow utilizes vitamin C in order to perk up dull tired skin. Super Bounce has the same texture as their Milky Jelly cleanser, and hydrates skin to the maximum. PERFECT for dry winter skin! Super Pure is probably my most used however, it reduces redness and combats breakouts. It’s the perfect serum for stressed skin and a stressed mind!

3. Estee Lauder Advanced Eye Night Repair

For gals like me, who aspire to wakeup glowing- but don’t- this serum is truly life changing. The silky eye gel is applied at night before bed, to help regenerate and reinvigorate the delicate layer of skin around the eye. This product claims to fight skin aging, something we all should be practicing no matter the age. The serum leaves your skin soft, silky, and cushioned. I saw a difference in my under eye circles almost instantly after the first use! The serum even works as a skin blur when applied with concealer, it’s truly magical!

4. Fresh’s Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream

For my go- to facial moisturizer, I recommend Fresh’s Rose face cream! The formula uses hydropatches, which are long lasting time-releasing bursts of moisture. The cream itself smells of the purest of rose oils, which can be hard to find! They use only rose products, not a mix of flowers, in order to create a potent rose aroma. The cream is soothing and natural and again doesn’t bother my sensitive skin.

5. Urban Decay Primer Potion

After using my moisturizer, I apply eye makeup primer. Urban Decay’s eye primer has been a cult favorite since it came out. Primers are highly important in a makeup routine, without it your eyeliner and eyeshadow will melt during the day! Every time I use this primer before applying eye makeup it prolongs my eye makeup wear for the entire day. It’s creamy formula never dries your lids and leaves your makeup looking freshly done all day!

6. Guerlain Meteorites in Medium

These gorgeous little pearls are t=one of the best products I’ve ever used. In general Guerlain’s meteorites are used as an all over face powder, but the medium pack has many pink and warm brown tones creating a perfect blush. The pearls themselves smell of the most delicious violet and the feel of the product is extremely delicate once the powder is applied to the skin. Their official description boasts that the powder “light up the face in an illuminating and corrective halo to give endless radiance”. And it does exactly that!

7. YSL Touche Eclat Concealer

Want coverage that lasts all day and doesn’t smudge or melt into your creases? Then go for gold! Literally! The gold makeup pen is truly (in my opinion) the best concealer. I’m a huge fan of covering my ever prominent under eye circles (duh), and even if I’m not touching other products for the day, I will still use this. I would definitely say out of all my products I use Touche Eclat most! The formula consists of gylcerin and mineral bases to create a luminous and perfect concealer. I had been on the search for about two years to find a perfect concealer and when I stumbled across this, I knew my search was over! a 12/10 product, indefinitely.

8. Milk Makeup Blush Oil

Milk Makeup’s Blush Oil is my Favorite blush at the moment! The blush oil is infused with lavender oil, grape seed oil, and sunflower oil to create a moisturizing and delicious smelling product. The oil itself is soft and oh so pigmented! You would imagine that a blush would lose its luster and not build well if oil based- but its the complete opposite! You only need about four dots placed on your cheeks for a vibrant super pigmented glow! And the best part- it lasts almost all day!

That was it for my winter favorites! I don’t leave the house without using at least five of these babies. These are currently the only 8 products I can’t live without!
